Before you ask
Fair questions. Here are the honest answers.
I stay close, not central. Most of the day, you won’t know where I am — and that’s the point.
You’re not spending your wedding making my film. I’m making a film from your wedding.
Probably not every week — and that’s not the point. You’ll watch it on your first anniversary. On a hard year, when you need reminding. When your kids ask what the day was like. Once, twenty years from now, when it’s just the two of you again.
It’s not about how often you watch it. It’s what it becomes worth when you do.
Different jobs, both worth having. Your photographer freezes a moment so you can hold it. I follow the moment so you can feel it again — the voice, the pause, the room. Most of my weddings are shot alongside a photographer I’m glad to share the day with.
